The list of Belizean National Holidays for 2023. The official list of Public and Bank Holidays Belize for 2023 has been released and it has a surprising number of long weekends. Compared to the 4 three-day weekends in 2022, 2023 will have 7 three-day weekends and 2 four-day weekends (Christmas and Easter). Of note in 2023 is that the Belize Alcohol Laws have been amended to update liquor establishment opening hours during holidays.
IT IS NOTIFIED for general information that public and bank holidays specified in the First and Second Schedules to Holidays Act, Chapter 289 of the Laws of Belize, Revised Edition 2011, will be observed on the following days during the year 2023 in accordance with section 3 of the said Act: –
