Caye Caulker Hotels Directory

caye-caulker-go-slow-stepping-stone
This stepping stone proudly proclaims the official motto of Caye Caulker – Go Slow!

Caye Caulker is the smaller, some say, more charming, easy going, less noisy, less congested version of Ambergris Caye. More authentic than the “other island” some of the locals sniff. No traffic jams. No overcrowding. If you are looking for a go-slow, easier on your pocket island vacation destination, Caye Caulker may very well be it.

The island is well served by daily water and air taxi service and offers beautiful beaches, several family run small hotels, restaurants and bars and tours to most any water-based adventure or activity you can imagine.

There are a few new condo developments going up on the island and the pace of development is picking up. However it retains most of its charm as a sleepy fishing village with smaller and more economical lodging establishments. This list includes all registered Caye Caulker hotels. Some of the establishments are actually vacation homes that are let out by their owners and can be a good bargain especially when lodging is hard to find in the high season. We have tried as best as possible to provide the direct property websites and when this is not available, the email or telephone of the owner or manager rather than that of a broker.
